Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a health care system that has been in place in China for over 2,500 years. Acupuncture care helps to relieve symptoms and signs of many health problems.  It can also uncover the underlying root causes of those symptoms.  The general theory of acupuncture is based on the premise that blood and oxygen flows through the body that are essential to health.  Disruptions of this flow are believed to be responsible for disease.

The goal is to activate the innate self-healing abilities of the body.  It is not only used when one is sick or in pain, but also it may be used to help prevent future illness and disease. It is the perfect way to help stay healthy.

Acupuncture is safe, natural, drug-free and effective.  It involves inserting thin, sterile needles around the thickness of 2 hairs into various points on the body. The needles are sterile, only used once and are regulated by the FDA.

Acupuncturists are highly regulated in the United States by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
